Short version: we collect what we need to get your basement waterproofing job quoted, we pass it to one waterproofing contractor, and nobody else sees it. The detail is below.

What we keep

Whatever you choose to send us. For a basement waterproofing request that is usually your name, phone, email and the address, where water is getting in and when, whether the basement is finished, and any photos. Calls to this site's number are logged with the calling number and time, and voicemails are recorded and transcribed.

Where it goes

Your details go to a single independent waterproofing contractor serving Waterloo — the one who will quote on your leaking crack injection & sealing, exterior membrane waterproofing, interior weeping tile & sump systems or similar job — and to no one else. That waterproofing contractor works under their own insurance and any licence the trade requires.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ad pixels. Standard server logs are kept by the host for uptime and abuse prevention, and nothing more.

How long we keep it

Requests are kept for follow-up and bookkeeping, then deleted. Voicemails are removed on a regular cycle rather than kept indefinitely.

Access, correction and deletion

Email hello@waterloobasementwaterproofing.com and we will tell you what we have, fix it, or delete it, as Canada's PIPEDA allows. We only text or email you about your own request (CASL); reply STOP at any time.
